Questions, answered.

Materials, care, production, shipping, and the details that make a 3D-printed object different.

01

Products & materials

What makes a printed object different from a mass-produced one.

What are KallyMade products made from?
Most products are printed in PLA, a rigid thermoplastic commonly used for decorative and useful objects. If a product uses another material, its listing will say so.
What is 3D printing?
A 3D printer turns a digital model into a physical object by placing many thin layers of material one on top of another. It allows us to create detailed forms in small quantities.
Why are there small lines on my product?
Fine layer lines, a small seam, and minor surface variation are normal results of printing layer by layer. Cracks, broken pieces, missing sections, or significant manufacturing defects are not normal—please contact us if you see one.
Will my product look exactly like the photos?
It will match the listed design and selected options, but layer texture, seam placement, and color shade can vary slightly. Lighting and screen settings can also change how a color appears.
Can I choose different colors?
Available colors appear on the product page. If you need a color that is not listed, contact us before ordering and we will confirm whether it is available for that design.
Are products designed by KallyMade?
Not every model is an original KallyMade design. Our catalog may include KallyMade designs and models commercially licensed from independent creators. We respect each creator’s license and attribution requirements.
Are your products handmade?
They are digitally manufactured rather than shaped entirely by hand. Each piece is printed, removed from the printer, checked, and prepared in small quantities by our family-run Florida studio.

02

Production & orders

What happens between checkout and the finished object.

Are products made to order?
Many are printed after you order, while some may be ready from stock. A standard catalog item does not become personalized simply because it is printed after purchase.
How long does production take?
The current production estimate appears on each product page. It begins after payment is complete and is separate from carrier delivery time. Larger quantities or custom work may require a separately confirmed schedule.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to help before printing or fulfillment begins. Once production starts, a change or cancellation may not be possible, especially for personalized or custom work.
Can I request a custom design?
We consider selected custom and personalized projects. Send the intended use, approximate size, quantity, color, reference material, and needed date through our contact page. We cannot reproduce work we are not licensed to use.
Can I order multiple pieces?
Yes. For a larger quantity, contact us before ordering so we can confirm material availability, production time, and shipping needs.

03

Shipping & returns

How orders travel from our Florida studio to you.

Where do you ship?
KallyMade currently ships to addresses within the United States from Florida.
How much is shipping?

Shipping is calculated at checkout from the order’s packed weight and destination. Current rates and surcharges are listed in our Shipping & Returns policy.

How long does delivery take?
Production and delivery are separate. Your product page shows the production estimate; carrier transit begins only after the package ships and varies by destination and service.
How can I track my order?

We email tracking after your order ships. You can also use Order Lookup with your order number and checkout email.

Can I return a product?

Ordinary catalog products may be returned in original condition if you contact us within 14 calendar days after delivery. Personalized and custom products are generally not returnable for a change of mind. Contact us before sending anything back and review the full Shipping & Returns policy.

What happens if something arrives damaged?
Contact us promptly with your order number and clear photos of the product, shipping box, and internal packaging. Keep everything while we review the issue. We will provide the appropriate replacement, repair, or refund for confirmed damage or defects.

04

Product care

Simple care for PLA and other printed materials.

How should I clean my products?
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. For marks, use a lightly damp cloth with mild soap, then dry the piece. Avoid soaking, abrasive pads, solvents, and harsh cleaners.
Are vases waterproof?
Do not assume a printed vase is watertight. Unless the product listing specifically says it is suitable for water, use dried flowers or place a separate watertight container inside.
Are products food-safe?
Not unless a product listing specifically states that it is intended and verified for food contact. Standard KallyMade objects should not be used to serve or store food or drinks.
Can I put products in the dishwasher?
No, unless a listing specifically says otherwise. Dishwasher heat and strong detergents can deform or damage printed materials.
Can I leave products outdoors?
Only if the listing specifically identifies the product for outdoor use. Sun, heat, rain, and freezing conditions can fade, weaken, or deform standard printed objects.
Are they safe for children?
Do not treat a product as a child’s toy unless its listing specifically says it is intended for that use. Printed objects may have small, pointed, moving, or detachable parts. Adult supervision does not replace the product-specific guidance.
Can heat damage PLA products?
Yes. PLA can soften and deform in significant heat. Keep it away from open flames, candles, heaters, hot appliances, dishwashers, and hot vehicles, and avoid prolonged direct sun.
